In Memphis, ribs are traditionally prepared and served with a dry rub. This doesn’t mean that the ribs are dry and tough, they just aren’t wet with a sauce. This dry rub is packed full of smokey flavor and it can also be used to season hamburgers and brisket.
NOTE: When applying a dry rub to brisket remember to work the rub into the meat anywhere it is exposed.
